# Dropshipping — the angle library (Chapter 2)

An angle is a reason to want the product — not an edit of one. Catalog every ad from the last three
months first: most sellers find twenty ads collapse into three or four angles. That collapse is the
diagnosis.

## One card per angle

| Field | |
|---|---|
| **Angle #** | |
| **Name** | |
| **Who** | |
| **Situation** | |
| **Believes** | |
| **Changes** | |
| **Status** | untested / tested wk __ — what happened |
| **Next** | |

**Example (from the book):** ANGLE 07 "the gift that is not another candle" — *Who:* 25–40, buying for
a sibling, has run out of ideas · *Situation:* birthday in four days, wants to look thoughtful ·
*Believes:* good gifts are expensive or take planning · *Changes:* arrives in two days, $34, looks
like it cost more · *Status:* tested wk 31 — best hold rate, weak click-through · *Next:* same angle,
stronger call to action.

## The weekly production system (one person plus tools)

**Per week:** 2 new angles written into the library (~1 hr) · 2 new videos, one per new angle (~2 hrs)
· 1 iteration on last week's best performer (usually a hook swap) · kill anything with 3 days of clear
losses.
**Per month:** review the library (which angles untested, which retired) · retire an angle only after
2 formats have failed on it.

⚠️ **Under ten hours a week in total?** Run this instead, capped at ~1.5 hrs/week: every two weeks,
1 new angle, 1 new video for it, 1 hook swap on the current best performer. A slower system you
actually run beats a faster one you abandon in week three.

Make eight pieces across eight angles — never forty variants of three. Label AI-made creative: Meta labels
generated or heavily altered ad creative; check each platform's current rules.
